Summary of team batting firsts innings:
Slaithwaite batted very well throughout their innings with all their batsmen looking comfortable at the crease. Slaithwaite got off to a quick start , scoring runs freely and Thongsbridge were never able to really get them under control. Lewis Kenworthy with 0-7 and Jack Wilson 1-11 were the pick of the bowlers. Fabian Cullaigh bowled well, 0-6 and Tommy Woodhead kept going and was rewarded with a late wicket thanks to a stunning catch by skipper Andrew Cuthill. A couple of chances went down in the field and a couple of run-out opportunities were also missed. On the whole though not the best bowing and fielding performance of the season

Summary of team batting second innings:
Facing a large total Thongsbridge were well in the game approaching the mid-way point in their innings. Tommy Woodhead (9) and Jasper Donlon (8) put on 20 for the first wicket. Lewis Kenworthy top scored with 14, playing some stylish shots and he added 25 with Josh Ratcliffe who once again did not give his wicket away. Slaithwaite showed what a good team they are by taking wickets in the middle of the innings, however Liam Johnson (6) played a couple of nice shots; however the inning lost momentum and finished on 268-6.

Result: Slaithwaite won by 65 runs
Match Summary: The best team won as Slaithwaite played the better all round game, however there were positives to take out of the game. Good efforts by Lewis, Josh, Jack and Fabian which can be carried forward to the next game.
